A Time to Throw Away

This morning we took some monumental steps! My girlfriend came over and helped sort, organize and pitch our overwhelming amount of toys. We made huge progress. We threw away 3 garbage bags of trash, set aside 3 bins to give away plus 2 oversized items in bags. That was the basement. After she left DS was motivated to clean his room. Very exciting! It was to the point of non-functional. Toys scattered everywhere on the floor. We have already thrown away a bag from his room. He is putting puzzle pieces back in the puzzles where they belong. Other items are finding a home so they will not be thrown wherever. Still some work to be done. But it feels great to have made it this far. I am proud of myself and of DS. I am telling HUGE STEPS.
Thanks Jenny!

Doesn't it feel nice to do things like this? I went through my filing cabinet this a.m. and wow, it felt great to pitch old stuff. Amazing what you don't need and have! LOL

WAY TO GO!

It makes me excited to just think of the organization going on in your house:) I love to see a room go from chaos to organization...it gives me a rush!!!

Hey if you have any infant to toddler toys in the pile to give away we would love to have a look:) We did not get many toys (which is good in a way...all he really needs right now is the play mat and the swing, but he is getting to the point where he is grabbing at things and will soon want to play with things...before we know it he will be walking and wanting to be constantly entertained by yours truly, so any help in that category would be greatly appreciated:)

I am so proud of you and your boy!!! It is way easier to keep things clean once they are organized:) Good luck!!
