Hunting for Tadpoles

It's serious business!

The kids and Grandma out catching.

Can anyone please tell me what kind of bird this is?
We have scoured books and websites and have yet to identify it.

Anyone have an idea?

It looks like a meadow lark, S. I can't really tell from the pic, and the females are different from the males, but the males have a yellow patch on their breast. It really does look like a meadow lark though.

Wow, Excellent pictures!

How are you doing on your miles these days?

It looks to me like a Cape May Warbler. Go to Google images and type that in, and look at the last photo on the first page.

Ok, I think I found out what it really is. I think it's a FEMALE red-winged black bird. Doesn't sound likely, but just check it out.
