It seems for so long I have been silent. When I speak it is in short snippets on a facebook status.
I feel like I have been on a train ride headed towards some wonderful destination but never quite reaching it. At each stop along the way giving a quick update and then getting back on the train to ride through life.
It's not that the last few months have been bad. It's not that I have not had things to say. It's more that I lost my passion. I lost my focus. I lost my voice.
I have to say that right now, this week, this day, this moment, God is doing a miraculous work in my heart, in my life and my home. I think I am finding my voice.
Watch out blogosphere....I do believe I'm back!

Welcome Back Blogger!
You know when you go to an amusement park and you ride a roller coaster. The friendly college student running the ride always, without fail, says,"Welcome Back Riders! We hope you enjoyed your ride."
Well, I have to say I did not intend to ride away from blogging for the Summer. It just kinda happened. While living life, I lost time to blog. But trust me life has been happening. We have had moments of triumph, death, diagnosis, growth and learning. It makes me kinda sad to not have each of these precious moments documented for me to look back years from now and remember. Already the days have melded together and if I try to pick out specific moments I have to think really hard and bust out the calendar to remember.
Rather than let that get me down I am choosing to blog again. I pray I find the time. Be it early in the morning or after the kids go to bed, I just need to do it and make it a priority.

Facebook and the new widget
I am discovering much about the wonderful facebook. I have connected with 50+ friends over the last 48 hours. Amazing. I have been uploading pictures, writing on walls and nominated as the author of momteacherfriend blog network. Hello To My Family
Unable to attend my family reunion this weekend I sent my mom armed with family photos and a link to my blog.

So to my dear family, if you are reading this, hello!
I have been blogging here on blogger since November of 2005. This handy dandy little blog contains our world; pictures, stories, ponderings and the happenings of our life. Simply put this little space on the internet is your glimpse into what is going on in our neck of the woods.
Since I was not at the reunion and unable to answer all your questions about what we have been up to, I thought I would give you the opportunity to explore my site and find out for yourself. On the side bar are links to all my post back to the beginning. Simply click on a month and all the posts written that month will magically appear. Have a more specific interest, search the site by typing in keywords in the search box on the top left.
You can also click a tag on the bottom of any post and it will bring up all similar subjects . Such as homeschooling.
If I were to sum up in a few sentences what has been going on in our world I would say this:
We are homeschooling for our third year. The boy (by the way I don't use the kids names or our last name for privacy) is starting second grade and is 7 years old. He loves to climb and is very athletic.
Little girl will be starting Kindergarten as she will be 5 in October. She is very into her babies, webkinz, reading and playing dress-up.
Hubby and I have been married for 10 years and counting. He has traveled his fair share over the last year on business. We are currently working on many home improvements such a garage and other projects are soon to follow.
Life is good and we feel very blessed!
